Q.
Do you respond to wildlife calls?
A.
We respond to calls of fatally injured, injured wildlife and wildlife
that have entered the living area of a home. Animals that have
entered an attic or chimney should be removed by a licensed professional
nuisance trapper. This is to insure that the young are not left
behind.
Q.
How many warnings do I get before a ticket is written for violation
of an animal ordinance?
A.
The only ordinance which requires a warning is 505.19. This ordinance
refers to yard maintenance. A resident is given one warning to
clean up dog feces. If the offense occurs again a ticket may be
written.
